Just bought this book on Amazon: Strength Training Anatomy – 2nd Edition. Looks very good and has been reccommended so looking forward to learning some stuff and getting a better understanding of individual muscles. According to the reviews it doesn’t even have an introduction, it’s straight down to work with the detailed reference info! Should get here in a few days…

The main ways I get workout advice are asking people on online forums and speaking to the instructors in the gym. If you ask the same question to three people you might get three different answers, so it’s good to do independent research. Also, recently at the gym I’ve been asking questions and whoever it is speaks to me in latin, so learning the latin names will help conversation.
