For the past week or so I’ve been alternating between weighted walks to the supermarket and upper body gym sessions. So, it’ll be walk, rest day, gym, rest day, walk, etc. Seems to be going well so far. The gym sessions have been good so the weighted walk isn’t using the same muscles I use in the gym, or the rest day is enough recovery.
Today’s gym session was good. Three sets of pull-ups, dips, push-ups and hammer curls. After that I was pretty much cooked and could hardly get dressed.
I had one supermarket walk with a particularly heavy rucksack that hurt my neck somewhat, that’s feeling much better at the moment but not fully ok yet. Also, the strange feeling at the back of my back, around my ribcage, is still there, would like to know what it is. It doesn’t feel like it’s a broken bone, feels more muscular but I don’t know what it could be.
I’ve been eating a lot of junk and not that much veg.
Bizarre readings off the scales today.
